The Scholars Program is a 10-year, US $500 million initiative that will enable 15,000 academically talented students from economically disadvantaged communities (mostly in sub-Saharan Africa) to attend secondary school and/or university.  Iowa State University (ISU) is a public flagship land-grant and space-grant research university located in Ames, Iowa, United States. ISU was Founded in 1858 and became the nation’s first land-grant institution under the Morrill Act of 1862, serving as a model for future land-grant universities.

About Scholarship: Iowa State is focused on enlisting a different and capable understudy populace. The International Merit Scholarship is granted to understudies who have shown solid scholastic accomplishment, and extraordinary ability or accomplishments in at least one of the accompanying zones: math and sciences, expressions of the human experience, extracurricular exercises, network administration, authority, development, or enterprise.

You should present your Undergraduate Application for Admission and every single required transcript, budgetary reports, and examination results before you may apply for the International Merit Scholarship, as your application record will be inspected as a major aspect of the grant thought.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Iowa State University for master’s students is open to students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree at an African university and are residents or citizens of an African country.
